World record attempt  2006
While in Austria we took part in a world record attempt at the highest altitude launch of 11 hot air balloons. Our launch site was the Dachstein Glacier, 10,000 above sea level. The flight lasted just over an hour and we reached altitudes in excess of 12,000ft.

Austria 2006
Team GB were blessed with perfect weather for our return to Rhormoos. Lovely deep snow made for soft landings but also hard work on retrieve. Lifting a basket and envelope through thick snow is very tiring.
