PETER
Peter is the pilot, and owner of Grand Britannia. He has been ballooning for almost a quarter of a century and has flown all over the world. He was one of the first people in the UK to hold a commercial pilot's licence.



SARAH
Sarah is the Crew Chief of and has been with Team GB since the first flight of Grand Britannia in 1996 at the Balloon Fiesta in Albuquerque, USA to which she is now an annual visitor.




ISAAC
Isaac is the team's Pilot under Training. In the 5 years he has been on the team he has become an invaluable member. Isaac has travelled twice with us to the Alps, to Syria in May 2007 and this year will join us in Metz.


DARREN
Darren is the team photographer and is responsible for many of the beautiful pictures you will see on this site. He has travelled with the team to France and Austria.




MARK
Mark is the most recent addition to Team GB. He has flown and holds a Pilot's license for just about every other type of aircraft imaginable so he has joined us to learn about ballooning.




TIM
Tim is the tallest member of the team (which often comes in handy). As well as being a keen crew member, Tim also serves on the committee of our local balloon club and is a regional liaison officer for the British Balloon and Airship Club.
